Let It Rise
“Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

As a New Covenant Believer, God’s glory is residing inside of you. That glory (being weighted or heavy with everything that is good) is both ministering to you and ready to be released from you into a world that needs to see manifestation of the goodness of the Lord. It is up to us to arise and shine: the light has already come. As we pray, stay in the Word of God and speak that Word with actions that support what we say, that glory will be released from the inside of us. Others will then see what our Father is like.

Meat In My House
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house…”

Every believer should count it an honor that they have the opportunity to help God meet the needs of people and the needs of those who are helping to establish the kingdom of God in the lives of men and women in this earth. If you see giving tithes and offerings as God extracting something from you, then you will not be able to experience the joys nor the rewards that belong to the person who releases them with the right attitude and motive. We are helping God love other people. May His house be full of meat so that others can eat.

Changing the Face of Things
“These that have turned the world upside down have come hither also.”
Acts 17:6

Remember: Jesus sent us into the world, not to be like it, but to make a difference – to introduce people to the kingdom of God. We must understand our place in the kingdom of God, pray and exhibit the love and power of God and disturb everything that satan and this world system are doing to destroy people’s lives.

Don’t Quit
“…and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13

There are times in all of our lives when we feel as though we have done everything that we know to do to see results and it seems as though nothing is happening and we want to quit. No matter how you feel, the Word of God encourages us to stand until we see the promise of God manifested in our lives. When all seems lost, keep doing what you know is right and seek the wisdom of God.

Praise The Lord All Day
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1

If you need to, today is a good day to begin making an adjustment: praise the Lord instead of complaining. This Scripture tells us that we are to be continually blessing the Lord by singing hallelujah, or by singing a hymn of praise. You will get a lot further in life and see more of the goodness of the Lord on a daily basis if you will sing His praises instead of complaining.

Build Yourself Up
“He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself.”
1 Corinthians 14:4

One of the greatest gifts that the Father has given the believer to use is praying and speaking in other tongues. This is one of the ways that we strengthen ourselves. We are speaking what the new testament calls “mysteries.” A study of that word will reveal some marvelous things for you. Not only will it reveal to you what belongs to you, it will also teach you what you are actually speaking between yourself and God.

The Condemnation Is Past
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.”
Colossians 2:13, 14.

One of the things that we can probably never iterate and reiterate enough is the fact that the past is the past…all of the sin, guilt, failure; everything that was against us has been dealt with by the Lord Jesus in His Substitutionary Work on the cross. We are to renew our minds to this and look forward to a glorious future.

Stay In Sync
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
Romans 8:14

We experience the best of God when we keep in step with the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He is our teacher and the One Who will lead and guide us into all the truth. He knows the best paths as we travel along life's roads. As we stay in sync with Him we will be successful.

Don’t Let Satan Intimidate You!
“Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:19

We have work to do for the kingdom of God while we are here in this earth. Jesus has equipped us with all that we need including the whole armor of God. Therefore, we are to do kingdom business, without fear and without being intimidated by the enemy. Keep your armor on and go forward!

You’ve Got A Choice To Make
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15

It might seem senseless to some to even make a statement like this to Christian people; however, there are opportunities all around for us to compromise, to make choices other than “God choices.” Every day we must be consciously aware of the fact that we must choose to serve the Lord in all that we do.

A Love For The Word of God
“O how I love Thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through Thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for Thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Thy precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy word. I have not departed from Thy judgments: for Thou hast taught me. How sweet are Thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Fellowship Is Important
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.” Psalm 133:1-3

One of the most selfish things that I have heard from fellow Christians over the years is, “I don’t need to go to church. I can pray and worship God at home all by myself”, or some reasonable facsimile. The Scriptures teach us that our fellowship with each other in church and out of church is vital to our being able to fulfill God’s purpose for us. One of the most important things that arise out of our fellowship with one another is the manifesting of God’s anointing on us as the body of Christ. Just as the members of our physical bodies were not designed to function alone, so we as members of the body of Christ were not meant to try to function alone. As we continually come together with our worship, gifts, talents, callings, resources, etc. the greater the potential for God to manifest Himself to us and through us. Get involved in church! Don’t be deceived into going it alone.

Prove Me!
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10

There are believer’s today that are making a huge mistake in their lives and that is not keeping God first in their giving. The Bible teaches us that a vital part of our worship to the Lord is keeping Him first priority in our material lives. He challenges us in that, no matter what our circumstances may be, if we will keep Him first, He will see to it that we are well taken care of. If you have been putting other things such as bills, pleasures and other things before God in your financial life, I challenge you today, by the Word of the living God to put Him first. Give Him His rightful place with your money and He will take care of You.

You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down
“And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:4

Jesus, a Good Man, a Great Man, so much so that even all the sin and sickness and unrighteousness and all the punishment of ours that He bore could not keep Him in the grave. Hallelujah! But don’t let it stop there. Ephesians 2:6 tells us that we have been raised up together and made to sit together with Him in the heavenlies. Those things could not keep Him down, and guess what? They cannot keep you down either!

God Is Not Weak
“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed…He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”
Psalm 2:2, 4

Don’t ever think for one moment that because of the things that you see in the earth that God is weak and cannot handle the situations at hand. No  man, no demon, not even satan himself is too much for God to deal with. Keep your eyes on God, your prayers toward Him and walk in the authority He has placed in the hands of the body of Christ. You will witness God at His best.

Water For Others Through You
“He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

Out of YOUR innermost being! That’s right, inside of you are rivers of living water. Those torrents of water are inside of you because the Holy Spirit lives in you as a believer. Through the words of your mouth, your countenance, the actions of your life, your hands and yes, even your shadow, God means for you to release the life of the Spirit of God into the lives of those around you. There are thirsty people all around you who need their thirst quenched. Get to releasing that water.

A Well of Water For You
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14

Water is the essence of life. We cannot live without it. The Bible likens water in the natural to the life of the Spirit of God. Just as we must drink water every day to live, so must we partake of the life of the Holy Spirit Who is inside of us. When we received Jesus, we were given a well of life inside of us to draw from every day. As we partake of the Word of God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit we will always have sufficient water to keep our lives refreshed.

How Much Are You Worth To God?
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Have you ever considered how much the Father must really love you? If not, you should. Think about this: you must be as precious and valuable to the Father as Jesus is. How? Well, if you weren’t, then He never would have sent Jesus to die for you. If you were of less value to Him, then He would have kept Jesus to Himself and forsaken you forever. When we understand this then we will place a higher value on ourselves and on one another.

Will You Help By Praying?
“Ye also helping together by prayer for us…” 2 Corinthians 1:11

It is easy for many believer’s to be tricked by satan into believing that their prayers don’t really mean much. Paul, however, by the Holy Spirit, saw it differently. The mighty apostle of God coveted the prayers of the saints and understood that as each one prayed, it served as vital help in him being able to accomplish his God-given mission. Always remember that your Bible-based prayers, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem to you, are an assistant in the situation at hand. Pray on!

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:27

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22, 23

Why Wealth?
“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

God really has given His people the power to get wealth…and it is for the purpose of establishing His covenant. We must ask the Lord God to show us how to use that power and ability, and then we must use what we receive to establish the covenant of God. God wants people of all nations to get in on His righteousness and His favor.

Giant Killers
“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Samuel 17:50

If we will study our Bibles, we will find out that the people of God have a history of facing “giants.” All that a giant represents is a seemingly insurmountable situation in the natural. However, those are the situations that our Father delights in, for when we trust Him and the Word that He has given us, He is able to show Himself strong on our behalf and cause us to emerge as the victors in every situation. Instead of seeing the multitude of natural circumstances as overwhelming, see them as opportunities to trust in the power of God and as an opportunity for God to be glorified through you.

A Glimpse of God’s Love
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love Him, because He first loved us.

Depend On The Holy Spirit
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.” John 16:13

GOD IN THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES INSIDE OF US! Wow! All wisdom, all love, all power, all knowledge, all ability, etc., etc., etc., abides inside of us. Our issue is this: learning to depend upon the One Who lives inside of us. Let’s challenge ourselves with this Scripture today. We have the promise of being guided into all the truth and of even being shown things to come. Let’s search out other Scriptures that show us what is available to us by the Holy Spirit Who lives in us and let’s determine to trust Him in a greater way.

Fight God?
“And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”
Acts 9:5

There just happen to be some things that God has His mind made up about and because of it there is absolutely no way around it. Fighting against the will of God in matters like these is a waste of time and it can cause a person great difficulties if they refuse to yield to God’s desires. Be determined to be humble, pliable and flexible before the Lord. When you know His will, choose to comply, not resist.

Is There Any Sick Among You?
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14, 15.

There are many times that we as believers don’t experience the results that we should from the Word of God very simply because we don’t follow instructions. If a believer is sick and needs help, the Bible tells him who to call. Many times believers will call everyone but the elders of the church. They’ll call the doctor first or someone else instead of first following the instructions from the Word. Lets act in faith, first, on the instructions that God gives us.

Life For Your Body
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11 NKJV

Are you in need of healing, strength or vitality of some kind in your physical body today? The Scripture teaches us that the Spirit of God Who lives in us is the One Who gives life to our mortal bodies. The word “life” used in this verse is the Greek word “zoe” which is a word that means “the life of God; life as God has life.” This is also the same life that the Father raised Jesus from the dead with. Ask the Father today for a revelation of what this Scripture can mean for you in the meeting of whatever needs you may have in your mortal body.

Trust Him All The Way
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5, 6

All of us would probably like to be in the know when it comes to all that is going on in our lives. However, it doesn’t seem to always work that way. In those times we just have to trust God with everything in us, and not depend on our own understanding. He promises to guide us in the way that we should go.

Approaching Tests and Trials
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:2-4

How do you approach the tests and the trials that come your way? James tells us how we are to do this and what we are to expect. When we fall into various trials, we are to rejoice because we know that the trying of our faith will produce endurance. And when we allow endurance to have its perfect work, we will be perfect and entire lacking nothing. Rejoicing triggers endurance, a steadfastness that will bring us to the place of being complete. If you want to work your way through a test and trial victoriously, follow God’s instructions.
