MAY 25

The Condemnation Is Past
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.”
Colossians 2:13, 14.

One of the things that we can probably never iterate and reiterate enough is the fact that the past is the past…all of the sin, guilt, failure; everything that was against us has been dealt with by the Lord Jesus in His Substitutionary Work on the cross. We are to renew our minds to this and look forward to a glorious future.

Scripture reading: Philippians 3:13, 14; Romans 8:1, 2
