No Other God’s Before Me
“Thou shalt have no other God’s before me.”
Exodus 20:3
There are many opportunities that we, as God’s people, allow other things to have the preeminence in our lives. We must guard against the idols of pleasure and entertainment. We must guard against trusting other sources, than the Father, to meet the needs in our lives. We must guard against attitudes that would attempt to have us trust in money as the source of all of our needs. Our Father is big enough to supply anything that we have need of or desire in life.
