God Was In Christ

“That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 NKJV

Our union with Christ is the most important aspect of our relationship with God. It may be a surprise to some of us, but the New Testament teaches us that God was the first One to be “in Christ.” Now if that doesn’t speak to us about the importance of our being in Christ, I don’t know what does. If being in Christ was so important to the Father that He did His work in reconciling the world to Himself, then it certainly should be no less important to us when it comes to our fulfilling the Father’s purpose through us in the earth. Study your place in Christ.
