JANUARY 14

Waste Not, Want Not
“When they were filled, He said unto His disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.” John 6:12

If we would look diligently into our lives, most of us would probably find that a major contributor to our lack of abundance is waste and not realizing what we already have in our possession. In this situation, Jesus, after the entire multitude was filled and satisfied, told His disciples to gather up what was left over. What was left over amounted to twelve baskets full: one for each of His twelve disciples. Check out the “fragment issue” in your life. I will guarantee you that you will find both seed for sowing and things that, by the wisdom of God, can be used for your own use. Learn to make the most of every single thing that you have.

Scripture reading: Jeremiah 33:3
