Crazy Praise
“Praise the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.”
Psalm 112:1

There are a number of different Hebrew words that are translated as “praise” in our English Bibles. One of those words is “Halal.” We recognize it as the word, “Hallelujah.” Some of the renderings of this word are “to shine, to make a show, to boast and to be clamorously foolish.” We should not be ashamed to sing, dance, make noise or boast about our God. He is pleased with every form of praise that He has created for us. When we look at the Scriptures, we also find out that the enemy is put to confusion and destroys his own devices as we praise God in this manner. Don’t allow the enemy to stifle your “Hallelujah.” God is in the midst of your “Hallelujah” and will put the enemy to confusion.

Scripture reading: 2 Chronicles 20
